Oh, thirteen. The number of a page which just didn't want to produce easily. Mostly it was caused by RL - I've spent a lot of time to get some documents and papers and there was not enough time for drawing or even getting to DA.
Well, here we have Sverr Mallemuck, a Ginger's owner and a director of the Southern Horn (SH) meteorological station. Not only he was one of the rare male rangers - petrels are more cooperative to women, and ranger is typically considered a female job in a civilised countries of Tellur - but he also managed to handle a female petrel. Female petrels are
more strong and endurant, yet they're much bigger than males and tend to be more aggressive towards humans, so no wonder he became some kind of a legend for other weathermen. Nonetheless, it's all in the past: a few years ago Sverr and his petrel got into the particularly nasty storm, in which the mount was killed and Sverr himself was extraordinarly lucky getting off with only a gammy leg although this put him away from ranger work forever. Now he rules the station, but not too happy about it. In particular Sverr dislikes reporting to the Rauchmond governor.
Sverr is from the country of Severia, so the red cyrillic writing on the map is actually his. It's translated as "Rauchmond".

People who has ever had a love interest talking to a person who, as you thought, fit them better than you did should understand Bryan's emotion =) Tanya should too, but it's not in her nature.

By the way, if you see a Night Gaunt here, you're not mistaken. Night Gaunts can be seen in the mountains of Tellur as often as eagles in the mountains of Earth, although they're much more malevolent. They won't be in the story, but they are a huge part of the setting being a hint of the Tellur nature
friendliness towards humans =)
"Tribe" is a synonym of "herd" for people of Tellur when they speak about thu'uls. For them, those creatures are no more sapient than whales for people of XIX century.

Hope you enjoy! As usual, any grammar help is welcome =D
